Fly Friday #45

Today's Fly Friday is The Adams Parachute from PRO-Team member Thomas Zullich.

The Adams Parachute tied on a Partridge of Redditch SUD Dry Fly Hook. Hackle & Tail is grizzly & brown genetic cock hackle. The body is dubbed with a mix of  antron and hare dubbing in grey. Wingpost is antron yarn. The thread used is Bennechi 14/0.

This fly is an absolute classic. Adjust size and colour to match hatch. Dress sparser for slower waters. The version in the picture is tied for harder water. The pattern is pretty sturdy, meaning does not break as easy as classic slip wing flies. It always sits correctly on the water.
